- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 large whisked (for egg wash)
- Everything seasoning (or your choice of seasoning/cheese for topping)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the 3 cups of flour and 2 1/2 cups of Greek yogurt. Use your hands to mix until the ingredients form a shaggy dough.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth and no longer sticky. Let the dough rest for 5-10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and let them rest for 10 minutes. Use your fingers to poke a hole in the center of each dough ball and stretch it to form the classic bagel shape.
Transfer the shaped bagels to the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with a whisked egg to create a golden finish. Top with everything seasoning or your choice of seasonings or cheese.
ake the bagels for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp on the outside.
Allow the bagels to cool on a wire rack for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
