Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 (16-ounce) container fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam or jelly, melted and cooled

Instructions

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  • Add the lemon juice and powdered sugar, mixing until fully combined.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping, mixing on low speed to avoid over-mixing.

Assemble the Pie

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the pre-made graham cracker crust using a spatula.
  • Smooth the surface of the filling for an even layer.

Prepare the Strawberry Topping

  • In a medium-sized bowl, add the washed, hulled, and sliced strawberries.
  • Pour the melted and cooled strawberry jam or jelly over the strawberries, tossing them gently to coat evenly.

Top the Pie

  • Arrange the coated strawberries on top of the cream cheese filling. You can arrange them in a circular pattern or pile them on top for a rustic look.

Chill the Pie

  • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours to allow it to set.

Serve

  • Slice and serve chilled. Garnish with whipped cream or powdered sugar if desired.
